Aisha Hinds
Aisha Jamila Hinds is a well-known American actress best recognized for her roles played in TV series "True Blood" and The Shield.' The actress has proven her versatility every since her debut on TV at the age of 23 in 2003. Her acting performances have excelled in series such as "9-1-1", "Detroit 1-8-7" as well as "Under the Dome". The first time she was noticed was for her character Anna in the 2005 movie "Assault On Precinct13". But it was the performance of her character as women's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer on the biographical film 'All the Way' that made her famous as an actor. Hind earned praise for her role as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's drama period show 'Underground'. She currently stars on the procedural drama series '9-1-1' in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta "Hen" Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show to air a new season. Recently, Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' that is scheduled for a release in mid-2019.
