Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (born November 8, 1985; height 5' 3" (1,60 1 m)) is a Canadian actor, most famous for her portrayals as Andy Jensen on the TV show Kyle XY and Lacy Rand on the show Caprica. Apanowicz is born of Polish descent and spent a year in Poland in the ninth grade. She went to school at Vancouver Film School. When she was 10years old, her father showed her Pulp Fiction and it sparked her interest in acting. The year 2002 saw her begin her acting career by making a couple of brief TV performances on the TV show Jeremiah and John Doe. In Kyle XY, she played Andy Jensen between 2007 and 2009. The film she made in 2008 Every Second Counts was a Hallmark Channel exclusive. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a series regular on the TV drama Caprica along with Eric Stoltz. The actress later appeared in Hellcats. In 2012, she appeared as a guest actor on the web-series Husbands. Written by Jane Espenson.
