Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who appears on CNN and HLN's various platforms. Her television show The Last House Remaining on DIY NETWORK premiered on March 30 2012. The show also has her as an on-camera meteorologist as well as the co-executive director. Her first book EXTREME WEATHER which came out from Palgrave Macmillan on January 31 of 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. As a Boston-based special assignment reporter, she was reported on each week for three hours on lifestyle, entertainment and news. Her prior position was the weekend meteorologist at WFOR-TV, Miami. She worked in several reports and meteorology roles at News 12 Long Island - the 24-hour news channel along with WXII TV - an NBC affiliate station located in Winston-Salem. Another job she held was a fill-in on occasion for The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
