Kellie Martin is an American film, television and stage actress. Her most notable role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) in the period drama Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Additionally, she's well-known for her role as the lead for The Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department store owner as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin began her acting career at the young age of seven years old when her aunt who worked as an nanny to Michael Landon's children, helped her land an appearance in the 1982 series "Father Murphy.".
